It's a series of YA books, I think there were four. I actually have pretty decent memories of them, but I can't for the life of me think of the author or titles.

There is a demon-type guy who flies down from his castle to a village every 7 years for a new bride (it's either every 7 years or he needs 7 total brides). The protagonist is, I believe, a maid/servant to a princess? And she saves the princess when the demon guy comes to take her, so he takes the maid instead. Once they reach the castle, she has to sew new clothes for the old brides, who have all become wraith-type creatures now, but the material she needs to sew the clothes with is made from her emotions, and she has to learn to pull on happier emotions because those make lighter thread that doesn't hurt the wraiths as much.

Can I get some recommendations for good overnight/postpartum pads? Searching around is taking me forever. I'd like something that is around 12inches long with wings.
I've tried Mimi's Dreams pads and I don't like them.. Vaj Pads is my favorite but I don't even know if they are still in business(Does anyone know?)
I only have one overnight and it is unusable now so I need more :]

On Saturday the 14th at 4AM UTC/GMT we will be upgrading the operating system of our network load balancers to a newer version, one that will allow us to use both CPUs! Nifty, because multiprocessing is nice.

Since we have 2 load balancers, the plan is to upgrade 1 at a time, and there really should be very little impact to our website. Hopefully you won't notice a thing and I'll get to go back to the hotel and watch some wonderful late night infomercials.

We've got a lot of exciting projects coming up for 2010 and we're hoping that we'll be able to deliver them all to you, that you will find it useful/cool/lovely and then you will use the site even more. Behind-the-scenes work like this will give us the capacity to handle the anticipated traffic, so expect a few more maintenance windows especially in the beginning of next year as we've got some neat ideas to improve performance around here! We had the recent 30-45 minute outage yesterday due to one of our logging databases filling up disk space -- not so great design coupled with my human error in handling the initial problem -- and it looks like we're going to finally have some resources to eliminate stuff like that. I can't wait!

I'm trying to remember the title of an old zombie film I saw in class years ago. It was in black and white and set in Hati. The main character was a woman who traveled to Hati to be a nurse or caretaker for a woman who seemed to be in a coma. But really the woman was being controlled as a zombie by the native Hatians. What I remember the most is a scene where the zombie woman is walking down the beach and they show the voodoo doctor dragging a doll made up to look like her.

All I know is that it was not White Zombie. Thanks in advance!
